Patna, (Bihar Times): The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday sought the immediate removal of the water resources minister, Vijayendra Yadav and bureaucrats of the department as they may join hands to tamper evidence and jeopardize the conduct of the judicial investigation.

As the role of the water resources minister would be under scrutiny he should step down on his own or should be removed by the chief minister, Nitish Kumar.

The BPCC also requested the Prime Minister to take up the issue of recurrent floods in North Bihar with the visiting Nepalese Prime Minister, Prachanda. It also said that the issue of encroachment of land by the Nepalese should also be raised in the meeting.
