Patna,(Bihar): A division bench of the Patna High Court on Friday ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the killing of a youth allegedly by police in Sitamarhi district in 2008.
The bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra accepted a petition filed by the deceased Sarbajit Mishra’s father and asked the CBI to probe the case and submit a report within four weeks. |
Arjun Mishra, in a letter to Chief Justice of Patna High Court, had alleged that his only son was killed by the police when he was returning home from the market on December 15, 2008.
