Scindia flays Nitish over ties with Narendra Modi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Union Minister of state for commerce and industry Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of adopting double standards on the issue of an advertisement in which he was seen with his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi.

Talking to newspersons he said it was only the last year that Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar were seen in public sharing a dias during NDA conclave in Ludhiana (on May 11, 2009).

Now that assembly elections are round the corner and the minority votes crucial, Nitish protested on publication of the same photo in an advertisement, Scindia said,

He said Nitish could not practice double standards on his association with Narendra Modi and the Sangh Parivar. The people understood the designs behind the anti-Modi stand of the Bihar Chief Minister.

Later launching Congress party campaign at Sembhopur Kowari in Vaishali district said that in Bihar the ministers are mast and administration past.
He chose to attack the poor law and order situation in the state by highlighting how the incidents of rape, murder and atrocities on Dalits have increased astronomically in the last few years. He said as to how the state government squandered the central assistance given in the last four years and said that the central grant was many times more to the state than what was given to the previous state government by the NDA regime during its six years rule.

Scindia started his campaign with hypothetical statements. And he is more worried about poster issue. This way it will be difficult to revive the congress in Bihar. These leaders will get exposed to their reality while campaigning in Bihar.
