Kalam to attend Bihar Science Conference at Gaya

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): Former President and renowned scientist, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, would deliver the key-note address in the three-day third Bihar Science Conference which is to take place between February 11 and 13 at Gaya College, Gaya.

According to Bibhuti Bikramaditya of BiharBrains the meet would be inaugurated by the chief minister, Nitish Kumar.


Over 600 scientists from India and abroad are expected to attend the Conference, which is being organized by Bihar Brains Development Society and hosted by Magadh University.

Others likely to attend are Prof S E Hasnain (member SAC-PM), who originally belongs to Gaya, Dr U N Singh, Chief Technologist, Langley Research Centre, NASA, Prof Anil Kumar Gupta (IIM, Ahmadabad), Prof A K Bhowmick, (IIT Patna), Prof H C Verma (IIT Kanpur) and several other scientists from South Korea, Germany, USA, IITs, NITs, IISc, central universities and other research institutes of the country.

The Conference will have oral and poster presentation covering all areas of physical sciences, chemical sciences. biological sciences, earth sciences, electronics and information technology. Best oral presentation and the best poster award would be given to each of the subject areas.
