Patna, (BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s brother-in-law, Anirudh Prasad, alias Sadhu Yadav, is in a defiant mood. He has raised the banner of revolt simply because the Bettiah parliamentary seat, on which he was eying has gone to the quota of the Lok Janshakti Party and none else, but Prakash Jha, is most likely to be the candidate from there.

Sadhu, who represented Gopalganj in the last Lok Sabha, is a cursing his luck too as the seat has been declared reserved this time. So he planned to shift to Bettiah which has now gone to LJP. Therefore, he is now firing all cylinders not only the RJD-LJP alliance but also on his mentor and brother-in-law, Lalu Yadav.
Minutes after the announcement of seat-sharing arrangement in New Delhi, Sadhu publicly expressed his strong opposition to the pact. He accused his Jijaji of deserting him for no reasons.
Sadhu described Paswan as a “rank opportunist” who had nothing to do with the welfare of the people of Bihar. He also vowed to defeat Paswan on his own turf, while accusing him of entering into a clandestine agreement with filmmaker Prakash Jha.
Reports said that Paswan has traded Samastipur seat to seek favour from Jha for his son, who is aspiring to make his mark in the world of cinema.
Talking to newsmen Sadhu also claimed that he had support of several RJD leaders who were unhappy with their party chief Lalu Yadav joining hands with Paswan. He, however, refused to answer questions about his future move and his intentions to contest polls against Lalu Yadav.
He also claimed that he had been contacted by several parties to contest Lok Sabha polls under their banner but he had not decided on anything as yet.
Similar resentment has been expressed by RJD leaders Ramai Ram and Jainarayan Nishad. They have also vowed to teach a lesson to the LJP chief.
