Lalu blames Advani for Babri Masjid demolition, asks Nitish to explain stand

 

 

Patna, (Bihar Times): The Rashtriya Janata Dal chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Tuesday held the BJP president, Lal Krishna Advani, and the then Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Kalyan Singh, among others, responsible for the demolition of Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992.He also asked Bihar chief minister, Nitish Kumar, and the Janata Dal (United) chief, Sharad Yadav, to explain their position after the coming up of the Liberhan Commission report.

Talking to newsmen immediately after the presentation of the Liberhan Commission report to Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, by Justice Liberhan on Tuesday Lalu said that RSS, Bajrang Dal and other such outfits were responsible for the series of communal riots which rocked Bhagalpur and other places in the country. He blamed various Rath Yatras taken out by Advani for the communalization of atmosphere all over the country.
He also urged the Prime Minister to table the report in the coming session of Parliament.
