Patna, (Bihar Times): The state government on Monday shifted five IAS officers, including Kosi division commissioner H C Sirohi and promoted four DIGs to the rank of IG.
Sirohi has been made principal secretary in the Public Health and Engineering Department in place of V Jaishankar who is retiring on Tuesday. Purnia division commissioner Sudhir Kumar has been given additional charge of Kosi.

Additional health secretary Vivek K Singh has been made secretary of the department of art, culture and youth affairs. Parmar Ravi Manu Bhai, who was waiting for posting, has been made additional secretary, health. Parmar will hold additional charge of project director, Bihar State Health Societies.
K K Pathak, who was also waiting for posting, has been made MD, Bihar State Housing Board. Pathak will also hold additional charge of administrator, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation.
On the other hand the Bhagalpur range DIG, A K Verma, has been promoted to the rank of IG Vigilance and DIG Saharsa, Manohar Prasad Singh has been made IG of BMP. Similarly, DIG (Homeguard), Shoaib Akhtar and DIG CID Raghuvansh Prasad Yadav have been made IG of their respective departments.
