Flood irregularities: Nitish assures action

 

Patna, (Bihar Times): Chief minister Nitish Kumar has promised strict action within three days against all those involved in the irregularities in the relief and rehabilitation works in the flood devastated Kosi belt of North Bihar.

Addressing a meeting after inaugurating a relief camp in Udai Kishunganj block in Madhepura district on Wednesday he said that nobody, found guilty of irregularities would be spared. Sensing the mood of the assembled people he looked towards the disaster management secretary, R K Singh, and requested the people to give just three more days for action.

Nitish was accompanied by two Yadav ministerial colleagues of the region: Bijendra and Narendra Narayan. Both of them are under criticism from various quarters both within and outside the National Democratic Alliance
